ENG 3520J Modern & Contemp. African Lit.

This course introduces students to the diversity of African writings and examines the social, cultural, and historical contexts from which they emerge. Students will read a variety of literature and will consider how writers address themes such as power, class, gender, colonialism, and globalization. (Previously NJCU Course ENGL-352)
