ENG 3430J Linguistics

This course is an in-depth study of language: how it developed, how it evolves, how it works, and how we use it to communicate. The main focus will be on the English language, although it may be compared with other languages spoken by students in the class. The course highlights the literary, cultural, educational, and political ramifications of linguistic study. (Previously NJCU Course ENGL-343)
