RDG 5600 LITERACY ASSESSMENT, DIAGNOSIS, & REMEDIATION FOR DIVERSE STUDENTS

This course explores the implementation of methodology, strategies, and skills in the correction and remediation of literacy difficulties for diverse student populations in P-12 settings. This course, taken in conjunction with Practicum I (RDG 5493), emphasizes the role of causal diagnosis, followed by remediation of targeted literacy skills. The design and implementation of multi-tiered systems of support and integration of research-based reading interventions will be discussed.
