RDG 5415 CLINICAL PRACTICUM IN ASSESSMENTS, DIAGNOSIS, AND CORRECTION OF LITERACY DIFFICULTIES

This course requires students to participate in an applied supervised clinical experience for the assessment and diagnosis of reading difficulties. Teachers will administer, score, and interpret various educational tests and assessments, compile case records and assessments to create a portfolio, and collaborate with peers and the instructor to discuss assessment results. Emphasis is placed on developing interpretation skills necessary for unpacking multiple forms and types of traditional and multimodal literacy assessments.
