RDG 5412 LITERACY STRATEGY AND INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORTS FOR SPECIALIZED AND DIVERSE LEARNING POPULATIONS: SPECIAL NEEDS LEARNERS, ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS, AND STUDENTS WITH DYSLEXIA
This graduate course focuses on scientifically based methods for supporting language and literacy development in students with diverse and specialized learning needs. Aligned with the NJ-MTSS framework, topics include curriculum adaptations, explicit instruction, class groupings, and assessment techniques, as well as literacy strategies for supporting English language learners, students with dyslexia, and gifted and talented students.
