This course offers a concise overview of the field of learning disabilities and more specifically addresses itself to the educational, personal, and social needs of secondary level learning disabled pupils. Placing the emphasis in teachingon maximizing the use of the skills and abilities adolescents demonstrate rather than emphasizing the remediation of skills that normally are mastered in the elementary school is stressed.
