SPED 5160J High-Functioning Child. w/ASD

In this course, participants will be introduced to academic and social challenges of high-functioning children and youth with autism. Students will become familiar with key features of this population, such as language, social interaction, motor issues, restricted interests, and emotional vulnerability. Specific interventions will be introduced. (Previously NJCU Course SPEC-616)
