SPED 5270J Special Education Internship
Student teaching for special educators is a full-semester supervised teaching experience in public or private school settings and designed as the culmination of the preparation for teaching. The graduate student is expected engage in responsible teaching activities under the supervision of a cooperating teacher and a University supervisor. The experience starts with observation and participation and gradually incorporates expanded teaching responsibilitiesuntil full-time teaching is achieved. (Previously NJCU Course SPEC-627)
