EMSE 3126 Applied Math: Integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Methods
Applied Math: Integrated STEM Methods is designed for elementary and middle school education candidates to apply math and science knowledge in real-world contexts. Candidate for certification (K-6, 5-8) will synthesize content and instructional practices to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills in students. The course explores strategies and tools for integrated learning, ensuring candidates can design and implement STEM/STEAM learning opportunities effectively. Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and reflective practice, candidates will learn to blend these disciplines while adhering to Universal Design for Learning principles.
