HIST 2550J The Emergence of Modern Europe

This course is an examination of European history from 1648 through World War I with particular emphasis on revolutionary changes in politics, science, intellectual currents and industry. The isms of the nineteenth century, liberalism, socialism, feminism, nationalism and imperialism will be considered. (Previously NJCU Course HIST-255)
