HIST 1640J Intro African Civilizaitons

A survey of the vast mosaic of African civilizations of Ancient Egypt and the Sudan as well as sub-Saharan Africa is presented in this course. Special emphasis is placed on those aspects of African Civilizations that have had the greatest effects on modern Africa and the larger world.
