HIST 1330J Cranks and Critics

This course looks at various efforts to create and live the perfect life. Were the people behind these efforts cranks and weirdos? Absolutely. But their nonconformity and critique of materialism gives us a chance to reflect on what it means to be happy and live on one's own terms. (Previously NJCU Course HIST-133)
