ENG 2300J Classical Drama

This course examines the origins of Western Drama through the major tragedies and comedies of Classical Greece and Rome, including works by Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Plautus, and Seneca. The cultural and historical contexts that generated these plays are also addressed. (Previously NJCU Course ENGL-230)
