PAS 6130 CLINICAL SEMINAR THREE

Working with the faculty advisor, students will continue to prepare a professional portfolio as they learn about the job search which will take place with presentations, seminars and workshops on interviewing, responding to a job offer, consideration of benefits and salary and contract negotiations. The credentialing process will be described as well as opportunities for leadership roles and advocacy at the university, local, state and national levels. Assessment of student knowledge, skills, and behavior through formative assessment measurements will assist student self-assessment of their readiness for clinical practice. The evaluation methods may include written and practical (OSCE) examinations, and faculty appraisal of student performance.
