PSY 2610J Stress & Coping 1st Responders
This course focuses on the mental health wellbeing of emergency response professionals. Beginning with an exploration of the psychological characteristics of those who choose a career as a first responder, students will learn about the impact of repeated and continued exposure to traumatic situations on the mind and body. The course concludes with a survey of mental health interventions for first responders. (Previously NJCU Course PSYC-261)
