MATH 2950J Survey of Modern Math
This course provides a transition to higher mathematics. Topics include elementary set theory, elementary symbolic logic, elementary number theory, equivalence relations and functions. Emphasis is on techniques of proofs. It is strongly recommended that students complete this course as a preparation for MATH 370 Abstract Algebra. (Previously NJCU Course MATH-295)
