IDAFS 2150J American Civil Rights Movement
The American Civil Rights Movement has challenged a democratic government to be more responsive to the needs of all constituents, redefined resistance and activism for citizens excluded from the political process, and offered new conceptions of American citizenship. The course focuses on ideology, organizations, resources, leadership, gender and political culture. (Previously NJCU Course AFRO-215)
