PSY 5750J Statistics
This course describes the statistical tools used in psychological research and their application in experimental design. The course reviews basic statistical concepts, including probability, variance,and standard deviation in sample distributions, as well as the application of basic analytical tools, such as correlation, Chi square and t-tests. Students also learn about factorial design, analysis of variance, post hoc tests, analysis of covariance, multiple regression, and factor analysis, which are regularly used in empirical studies. Stunts will learn how to organize data using statistical software for efficient and comprehensive analysis of variables. (Previously NJCU Course PSYC-675)
