CHEM 4185 INTRODUCTION TO MOLECULAR MODELING AND ITS APPLICATIONS
Introduction to the use of computational chemistry and molecular modeling as tools for the solution of real-world research problems in chemistry and biochemistry, and computer aided drug design. Students must have a fundamental understanding of structural organic chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, elementary biochemistry and the general principles of quantum chemistry. (Combination of lecture and lab work)
Students cannot take both CHEM 5185 and CHEM 4185 for credit.
