CHEM 5185 INTRODUCTION TO MOLECULAR MODELING AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Introduction to the use of computational chemistry and molecular modeling as tools for the solution of real-world research problems in chemistry and biochemistry, and computer aided drug design. Students must have a fundamental understanding of structural organic chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, elementary biochemistry and the general principles of quantum chemistry. (Combination of lecture and lab work)

Students cannot take both CHEM*4185 and CHEM*5185 for credit.
