This 15-credit minor in Drone Piloting and Applications provides a foundation for understanding how to safely and properly operate Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines. Students will become certified as commercial drone pilots under 55 pounds in route to the completion of the minor and will also finish the program with an understanding of how drones can be applied to a particular field (based on their selection of a breakout track).
