CED 7997 RESEARCH IN COUNSELING AND COUNSELOR EDUCATION
This doctoral-level seminar immerses students in the systematic reading and critical examination of a wide range of contemporary research in counseling and counselor education. Through this process, students develop an understanding of the purpose, structure, methodology, and quality of scholarly research. A focus of this course is the development of students’ research literacy in evaluating, synthesizing, and applying research to support their growth as critical consumers of scholarship and emerging contributors to the counseling profession.
