CED 7966 CHILD CENTERED PLAY THERAPY
This doctoral-level course provides a comprehensive examination of the child-centered theoretical orientation in play therapy practice, supervision, research, and counselor education. Students will deepen their understanding of the historical development, philosophical foundations, and core constructs of Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Emphasis is placed on critically applying CCPT principles, techniques, and skills to diverse developmental, cultural, and clinical contexts through experiential learning, including role-plays, case simulations, and supervised practice exercises.
