The B.A. in English: English in Global Settings Option provides students with an intensive English experience that will prepare them to use English in various international settings, including English in educational, community and corporate international settings with non-English speakers. The English in Global Settings Option does not lead to New Jersey Teacher Certification.
A minimum GPA of 2.5 for 30 or more credits is required to declare as a major; a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for all major courses; an overall minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for graduation.

ENG 4817: Is required of all English in Global Settings majors and fulfills the Writing Emphasis (WE) requirement of the University.

ENG 1996 Optional Research: Freshman may partner with faculty to earn on credit as a free elective, which may be taken up to two times.
ENG 3291, ENG 3292 or ENG 3293 Optional Internships (1-3 credits) for a maximum of six credits, which may fulfill free elective requirements. Prerequisite are ENG 3001 or ENG 3029; 75 credits.
