The Division of General Education and Interdisciplinary Studies (DGEIS) oversees the University’s General Education (GE) Program, offers the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts (BALA) degree, and houses the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, which enables students to explore interdisciplinary minors.
DGEIS collaborates with all Colleges and Programs to bolster student success; it supports innovative teaching practices and curriculum development to inspire and serve the needs of Kean students in all majors.
