The Kean University Bookstore, an affiliate of Barnes & Noble College, is located centrally in the Green Lane Academic Building, or GLAB. The University’s main location in GLAB serves as a one-stop-shop for textbooks, general reading materials, electronics, school supplies, Kean apparel, campus eats and more.
Students can buy or rent New or Used textbooks/course materials. This also includes the purchase of access codes, from the Kean University Bookstore directly via KeanWISE. Digital books are also available for purchase or rent through Kean’s YUZU app. For a full description of materials required for each course, please visit the “Search for Course Sections” page beneath the “Students” menu in KeanWISE and select “View Books.”
The Kean University Bookstore will Price Match physical textbooks for the first two (2) weeks of classes from the start of the semester. In addition, students can sell their books back to the Bookstore twice a year during the week of finals in December and May. Whether searching for a textbook or general reading materials – ranging from fiction, biographies and children’s books to magna, study aids and more – the Kean University Bookstore can special order any items sought.
In the market for electronics? Look no further than Kean University Bookstore where students with a valid Kean ID can purchase headphones, printers, video game systems, chargers, cords, cables, USB’s, Apple products, laptops (HP & Dell), including Microsoft Surface and Pro Tablets (online only) recommended for courses within the Michael Graves College. eCourse-related school supplies can likewise be found in the Kean University Bookstore. These include required art and jewelry-making supplies, lab coats, goggles, slides, scientific calculators, and C-P-R masks, alongside brand names such as Five Star, Bic and Moleskin.
Kean merchandise for both men and women are available via the University Bookstore. General merchandise offerings include brands such as Nike, Columbia, Champion and League Collegiate Wear along with an assortment of infant and youth clothing. Adidas, Herschel and Vera Bradley backpacks. Diploma frames, car accessories, hats, mugs, and more. Kean University Bookstore accepts cash, credit, debit, Flex dollars, Apple & Android Pay. Flex dollars only accepted online for non-emblematic items.
Following a day full of classes and shopping, students are encouraged to stop by the Barnes & Noble Café for Starbucks coffee, sandwiches, snacks, and desserts. Daily lunch and drink specials are offered.
