RDG 3402 ADVANCE LITERACY DEVELOPMENT AND INSTRUCTION IN THE ELEMENTARY GRADES
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of reading science research focused on the foundational best practices for fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing instruction. Topics include high-leverage practices in oral and written language development, vocabulary acquisition, syntactic structures, and written expression. Through hands-on activities, readings, and collaborative assignments, students will explore principles of explicit instruction and assessment to enhance reading instruction and intervention for diverse learners.
