MKT 3445 SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

This course provides an overview of social media marketing strategies for promoting products, services, ideas, people, places, events, organizations, and other entities. Students examine various social media platforms, social media marketing tools, and industry trends. Students learn the selection of social media platforms, social media content creation, content management, social listening, social media marketing plan development, and metrics used to measure plan effectiveness. The impact of AI and other issues will be analyzed in relation to the development of effective social media marketing strategies that are in alignment with other elements in the integrated marketing communications plan and the organization’s overall marketing strategy.
