Career-related placement at an organization, business, or nonprofit entity related to the marketing and communication of the Sports Industry. The internship provides students with first-hand training, workplace exposure, and practical application of their knowledge and skills. The scope of work will vary and might focus, for example, on the equitable treatment of all communities in environmental decision-making, climate justice, environmental racism, and health impacts on marginalized communities.
Note: Assignments and placements are arranged by the Office of Career Services and must be approved by the Interdisciplinary Sports Studies Minor Coordinator.
