IDLAS 3293 LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES INTERNSHIP
Career-related placement at an organization, business, or nonprofit entity related to Latin American Studies. The internship provides students with first-hand training, workplace exposure, and practical application of their knowledge and skills. Placements may involve activities such as research, advocacy, program development, cultural programming, or community outreach focused on Latin America and the Latinx diaspora.
Note:
Approved Petition Required via an Experiential Learning Agreement in Handshake/College Central. See your Career Advisor for assistance. May be repeated twice for 6 credits total. Pre-requisites can be waived with approval from the Latin American Studies Program Coordinator.
Assignments and placements are arranged by the Office of Career Services and must be approved by the Latin American Studies Program Coordinator.
