Minor Requirements 15-18
This 15-18-credit interdisciplinary minor is designed to educate Kean students across multiple disciplines about the aging experience and the contributions that multiple disciplines can make to advance healthy aging. Students who participate in the program will be able to get both macro and micro understanding of aging and its implications nationally and locally.
The minor explores the relationship of the aging experience to healthy life span behaviors and scientific accomplishments. This program offers an opportunity for students to broaden the scope of their studies and increase understanding about the aging process using a lifespan perspective.

Notes: Students admitted to the Aging and Wellness minor must have and maintain a minimum of a 2.0 GPA. Students must complete a declaration of minor form to be admitted into the minor. For the GERO practicum the student must be declared minor, have a 2.0 GPA and complete 6 credits in the minor and have approval of the minor advisor. A minimum C grade must be maintained.
