Kean University Foundation
About the Kean University Foundation
Established in 1984, the Kean University Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to securing and managing private support for Kean University. The Foundation solicits, receives, and administers gifts, grants, bequests, and other giving vehicles to benefit the university’s students, faculty, departments, and programs.
As the official fundraising and philanthropic arm of Kean University, the Foundation serves as a vital bridge between generous donors and the students, faculty, and programs that define the university. By connecting caring individuals and organizations with meaningful giving opportunities, we help ensure that every contribution makes a lasting impact on Kean University and the broader community.
Through donor generosity, the Foundation provides critical support in the form of scholarships, awards, programmatic funding, and investments in key university initiatives. These resources help enhance academic excellence, expand student opportunities, and drive innovation across the university.
Committed to stewardship and transparency, the Foundation carefully invests and preserves the university’s endowment while ensuring donor contributions are used according to their intentions. Through thoughtful financial management and strategic partnerships, we play a key role in advancing Kean University’s mission.
