EC 4250 TEACHING LITERACY IN EARLY ELEMENTARY GRADES
Pedagogical content knowledge introduced in this course will enable teacher candidates to teach literacy to early elementary students. Teaching strategies for teaching reading comprehension, fluency, foundational writing, speaking, and listening will be introduced and practiced. Teacher candidates will use NJSLS-ELA 2023 to underpin their teaching strategies in the early elementary grades.
