EC 3700 FAMILY ENGAGEMENT IN YOUNG CHILDREN'S LEARNING
This course focuses on engaging families in young children’s learning. It examines social, historical, political, legal, and philosophical constructs that impact children, families, and communities, the impact of children’s homes, communities, health, and cultural experiences on development and learning, recognition of children at risk, acceptance of diverse family units and linkages with community resources to support families.
