ENV 5650 SPATIAL ANALYSIS

This course builds upon the foundational skills learned in an Intro to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course and covers a variety of methods for effective spatial data analysis with GIS. Through multiple hands-on projects, students gain experience with spatial analysis techniques including interpolation, raster analysis, spatial pattern analysis, accessibility analysis, and spatial statistical analysis. The labs use Esri ArcGIS Pro and GeoDa. (3 hr. lec./3 hr. lab.)
