CHEM 5625 MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY
Medicinal Chemistry focuses on how new medications are created and tested. The course will also provide an overview of the drug development process from research bench to patient ingestion. This will include the investigation of small molecule interactions with relevant biological targets, efficacy, absorption, metabolism, toxicity, and pharmacokinetics and patents.
