ACCT 5250 INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING AND TAXATION
This course focuses on the principles and issues related to international accounting. It will cover International Financial Reporting Standards including preparation and analysis of multinational financial statements, international tax issues, comparative international auditing and international transfer pricing. The course will also cover accounting practices in various countries foreign currency transactions, the development of international standards and international convergence issues. Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the international financial environment as well as the social, economic, and cultural influences of the development of international accounting standards.
