BCHM 4115 BIOCHEMISTRY

A study of structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids. Introduction to major metabolic pathways. The course applies knowledge acquired from organic chemistry courses to biological systems. Biology majors must take Biochemistry Laboratory. Biology majors must take Biochemistry Laboratory (BCHM 4115L) as a co-requisite.
