SUST 3300 LEED LAB AND AP CREDENTIAL PREPARATION

This course will build on the accomplishments by establishing the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Lab, with the goal of having students prepare a plan of an existing building for obtaining certification under LEED Existing Buildings, Operation and Maintenance (EBOM). Students will assess, evaluate, prioritize, and plan improvements to the building using LEED EBOM rating system and software tools as well as being a member of an interdisciplinary team. The course provides students with experiences and practicum that are directly correlated with the LEED AP Credential exam.
