ENV 4103 ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

A systematic study of rapid-onset events such as seismic, mass movement, atmospheric, hydrological, technological and biophysical hazards that directly threaten human life and communities. Examination of environmental hazards from the perspective of both earth and social sciences. Fundamental skills in analytical, mapping, decision support tools and risk assessment for practical disaster management.
