PSRT 1103 INTRODUCTION TO GROUP DYNAMICS
Groups are an integral part of psychosocial rehabilitation service delivery. This course introduces students to the principles and skills needed to become an effective group facilitator. Classroom lectures provide students with an overview of group theory including: group process, group dynamics, leadership issues, and different types of rehabilitative groups. Laboratory experiences and exercises will further illustrate these topics as well as equip students with skills needed to plan, run and evaluate groups.
